- Full-time
- On-site
Production Process Engineer
You will help ensure our product meets high standards of reliability and safety.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving the assembly, testing and production processes behind our endovascular robotic systems — from process concepts and work instructions to cycle time, yield and scrap performance on the production floor.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, comprising multidisciplinary engineers, product managers, and medical professionals to ensure that our technology architecture and system designs meet the highest standards for patient care while aligning with complex regulatory and clinical guidelines.
Key
responsibilities
-
Process Design & Implementation
Design, implement and continuously improve assembly, testing and production processes for precision mechanical and mechatronic products. Take new or changed processes from concept to the shop floor, and make sure they work in practice, not only on paper. -
Manufacturing Documentation
Create and maintain assembly, testing and production instructions, working from technical drawings, specifications, BOMs and other engineering documentation. Keep the documented process and the real process identical at all times. -
Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis
Investigate production issues, defects and deviations, run structured root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions that hold over time.
-
Process Optimization
Own the key production indicators — cycle time, throughput, scrap and first pass yield (FPY) — and drive measurable improvements in efficiency, stability and quality. -
New Product Introduction & Transfer to Production
Partner with R&D on manufacturability early, and lead the transfer of new products from development into serial production: process definition, tooling and fixtures, pilot builds and ramp-up. -
Training & Cross-functional Collaboration
Introduce new and changed processes on the floor and train production staff to run them confidently. Act as the bridge between R&D, Quality and Production in daily manufacturing decisions.
Required skills
A degree in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, electronics or a related technical field, combined with hands-on experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
A solid understanding of precision mechanics, mechatronics and assembly processes, with the ability to read and work from technical drawings, specifications, BOMs and other technical documentation.
The ability to write and improve clear assembly, testing and production instructions, and the discipline to work consistently within documented, controlled processes.
Proven experience in analysing production problems and performing root cause analysis, together with experience optimizing processes against cycle time, throughput, scrap, FPY or similar indicators.
The ability to work closely with R&D, Quality and Production teams, roll out new or modified processes in real production, and train the people who will run them.
